Dr. Bruce Martinson, a native of the Wayzata area, has been in practice for over 20 years and is known for his dedication and commitment to his patients. Along with his warm, caring, and accommodating staff, Dr. Martinson’s emphasis on proactive dental care is essential to his practice. Whether you are receiving routine dental care or in need of the latest techniques in restorative or cosmetic care, the quality and excellence in his work will be noticed. Dr. Martinson’s educational background started at Loma Linda University in California where he received his B.S. in Biophysics and continued on to Loma Linda Dental School graduating in 1981. There Dr. Martinson completed a one-year residency at the University Hospital as well as an additional residency at the V.A. Hospital in Redlands, California. Dr. Martinson has continued his education by attending numerous post doctorate courses and seminars such as those offered by the L.D. Pankey Institute in Florida and The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.
In addition, Dr. Martinson is very active in many other professional associations. He is a member of the Minnetonka Study Club, Implant Educational Continuum and former resident dentist at Hillcrest Nursing Home. When on the water, you’ll find him involved within the sailing community. Dr. Martinson was a judge at the 2020 Olympic Test Event in Japan. He has also competed in many national and international events sailing a Laser and E Scow.
